(3 minutes) An important part of Chipco's mission is our work with American Indian and Alaskan Native communities. One of the many aspects of this work is our role as delegates for the Sioux Nation at the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII). The 2023 UNPFII is currently underway, and we are sharing a powerful clip (below) from yesterday's events at the General Assembly where the Indigenous people of Finland, the Sámi, push back on Finland's report of how well the country works with them:
