Recently Chipco's very own Karen Hannel entered the Dalemain international Marmalade Competition in Penrith, Cumbria (England). Two of her entries were awarded Bronze and a third was awarded a Certificate of Merit. Not a bad showing for our first-ever international marmalade competition!
Nearly all fruit used in the tasty creations was organically grown on Chipco Preserve or Chipco Farms. Karen's small-batch artisan marmalade entries included Spiced Kumquat, Seville Orange, and Calamondin. These and other great-tasting jams, jellies, and marmalades will be available on Chipco Farms' website (forthcoming) once this year's fruits are harvested and processed.
